Cancellation requests received prior to October 22nd will be eligible for a refund. Cancellations received after October 23rd will not be eligible for a refund.

Between October 1 and October 22 25%
After October 23 No refund

Cancellation requests must be made via phone or email and received by the cancellation deadline. Please note that 10% of the registration fee will be withheld to offset processing fees.

If you are unable to attend the conference, registered participants have the option to send a substitute in their place at no additional charge. Notification of substitutions must be received prior to October 30th at 12:00 pm via phone or email. Please note that substitutions will not be accepted at the door.

The MMANC 2024 Annual Conference will take place in beautiful Santa Rosa! Santa Rosa is the largest city in Sonoma County and offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and a vibrant community spirit. The city is known for its charming downtown area, which features historic buildings, boutique shops, art galleries, and farm-to-table restaurants showcasing the region’s renowned culinary scene.

Nature enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in Santa Rosa, with its close proximity to the Russian River, redwood forests, and numerous parks and hiking trails. The city’s mild Mediterranean climate makes it an ideal destination for outdoor activities year-round, from wine tasting and hot air ballooning to kayaking and cycling through the vineyards.

Santa Rosa also boasts a rich cultural heritage, with attractions such as the Luther Burbank Home & Gardens, the Charles M. Schulz Museum, and the Sonoma County Museum. Throughout the year, the city hosts a variety of festivals, events, and concerts, celebrating everything from wine and food to music and art.

Sonoma County is a breathtaking region located just north of San Francisco, renowned for its stunning landscapes, world-class wineries, and laid-back atmosphere. Encompassing diverse terrain ranging from coastal cliffs to rolling vineyards and lush forests, Sonoma County offers endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation.

Wine enthusiasts flock to Sonoma County to experience its renowned wine country, which is home to over 400 wineries producing some of the finest wines in the world. Visitors can embark on wine tours and tastings, sampling a wide range of varietals while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

In addition to its wine culture, Sonoma County offers a wealth of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, and kayaking. The rugged coastline provides opportunities for whale watching, beachcombing, and exploring charming seaside towns like Bodega Bay and Jenner.

Applications to apply for a scholarship for the 2024 Annual Conference will be released in the summer of 2024. There will be 1 student scholarship (must be a current MMANC student member and graduating no earlier than December 2024) and 1 first-time attendee scholarship (must be a current MMANC member and working full-time in local government). More information will be released soon.

When will conference registration open?
Registration for the 2024 Annual Conference is scheduled to launch in late spring/early summer.

How do I sign up for Special Activities at the conference?
Special Activities will be announced on our website soon and will include sign-up instructions.

How do I communicate accessibility needs or dietary requirements?
When you register for the conference you will be prompted to list any accommodations you may need in the registration form. While we will do our best to accommodate your needs, there may be some limitations. Additional information/questions can be emailed to Conference@mmanc.org

Is there a dress code for the conference?
Suggested attire is business casual. Dress in layers as conference rooms can get cold.
